“Illustrations for Unwritten Tales” is a series of paintings and digital prints depicting a land of fantastic imagery and paradox. The paintings show the charaters’ adventures in comic-like style with simplicity and playfulness, creating a sense of ambiguity and anxiety. The “tales” themselves have never been written, therefore the series is an invitation for the viewer to imagine the ‘missing’ parts of the story and learn the ‘language’ of this mystery world.
